Need Info About MLM Business – Read this Post
No CommentsThe Internet did not create the non-store shopper or even the electronic shopper. An early characterization of the non-store shopper was developed in the following way – buyers were reported as being:
• More willing to buy without handling items and to like shopping but not crowds.
• In greater need of convenience and product assortment.
• More price conscious and seeking a price advantage.
• Infrequent shoppers who make unplanned purchases.The advent of the World Wide Web and online shopping through the Internet gave rise to a consumer with similarities and contrasts from the earlier non-store shoppers. The evolving Web e-shoppers were then characterized as:
• more innovative in their shopping activities;
• convenience oriented;
• more impulsive in purchases;
• less brand conscious;
• less price conscious.E-retailing did not finish with the cabled (wired) versions of the Internet and World Wide Web. The latest incarnation of the e-shopper is not restricted to a desktop or notebook computer with cable-linked modem or broadband connection. Quite the opposite – the new e-shopper is mobile and may use e-retailing anywhere a wireless network is being broadcast. The mobile e-shoppers or m-shoppers share the characteristics of earlier non-store shoppers in that they are innovative shoppers likely to be impulsive in their purchases as they seek shopping convenience. What distinguishes the m-shopper from other e-shoppers is that they look for variety in their shopping activities. The m-shopper is a consumer wanting diversity in the shopping offerings of retailers, a seeker and adopter of new retailing channels, and, if offered the right balance in the retail offering, will make an unplanned purchase because an item is attractive and is perceived to be good value.
