Past Regression; Is Remembering Important?
No CommentsPast Regression – As more people today begin to believe in reincarnation. It is hard to decide the best way to start on the journey of remembering your past lives.
A good tool that can prove very beneficial when referred back to is a journal. In your journal you will need to record all your thoughts and feelings. Even those that seem inconsequential to you at the time. You also need to write down any emotions that you may feel, as it is generally believed that emotions are a strong link connecting us to our past life or lives. Do not forget that even something as unimportant as an irrational fear of cracks in a sidewalk can prove very useful and need to be made a note of in your journal.
A good way to start this journal is to write down things like your likes and dislikes, phobias, food, being drawn to certain time periods, architecture, food, cultures, and climates. Also add things like times of Déjà Vu, talents and occupations, the kind of animals and your personality and maybe even birthmarks.
Your dreams may also tell you something about your past lives. Of course, your dreams will be largely made up of things from your current life, but you should write down the events of your dreams, since there can be some elements of your past lives to be found here.
Another way to go is Past life Regression.
A past life regression therapist guides you through your past life and interprets the information with your help. These therapist are trained professionals who use hypnosis. With time some people can learn to do self-hypnosis but for those who cannot, seeing a past life regression therapist can prove very beneficial and helpful.
Meditation can be another powerful tool to help you find out more about your past lives.
When meditating there is usually no professional assisting and so many people find it difficult to trust the information they get during their sessions. But trusting your feelings as well as your instincts is necessary with meditation.
While meditation may feel like daydreaming to you, something of importance may come through as images start to flow through. Your journal maybe of help here too.
A lot of people find that listening to music while they meditate is all they need to be able to relax and focus their minds. Alternatively, you might prefer to listen to the soothing and calming sound of water, or the helpful guided meditation audios that are available today. Lighting a pleasant smelling incense or burning some scented candles can help you to relax as well. Whatever you choose to help, it is important that you are completely relaxed and focused. If none of these do the trick then you might want to try something else.

Binaural beats are frequencies which can allow your mind to quickly reach the kind of meditative state which could otherwise take a considerable amount of time to learn. When you meditate, it should always be in a quiet place which is free of distractions. Try to relax your body and your mind completely.
It is important that you are relaxed and that you are not distracted by thoughts about everyday things. Simply acknowledge the thought so that it does not keep recurring, and so that you do not forget it, then put it out of your mind. Remember that meditation does not just happen, it takes practice before you will reach a true meditative state.
Sometimes meditation can help with that which you are confronting in your current life. Many discover that the people around them are people they shared a past life with. Although this might seem strange a simple bit of research can confirm or deny the information gleaned from the regression meditation.
Reincarnation is a belief held by many of the world’s religions. Some believe that we experience the consequences of that which we did in our past life or lives, whether good or not, in our current life. It is called Karma and is not that different from regression, in that once you have discovered information about your past life it can help you when faced with issues in your present life. It is all about learning from our mistakes in the past, and that can only enhance and enrich your current life experience.
Although it may be difficult for you it is important that you keep an open mind to enable you to accept whatever information about your past life that comes through. This information can be very beneficial to your present life, because you are able to learn from the past mistakes that you made and as a result enjoy a fuller, richer current life.
Sometimes it happens that the subconscious might be blocked but it can be unblocked successfully to receive the information that comes through past life regression. Despite the fact that some people experience a blocked subconscious, the experts still maintain that past life regression can be very beneficial to the present life. But besides the unblocking of the subconscious, there are other benefits as well.
Helping in deal with things from the past that will help in making better decisions. If the regression brings out something you have done in the past that was less than kind, then suffer negative results from it then you know that you can’t do that in this life.
But past life regression can also help you to understand why you are the only artistic one in your family, especially once you have discovered that you were an artist in a previous life. You will be able to identify the talents you had in your past life and apply them to your current life, thereby enriching it all the more.
Past life regression can be a very positive experience, as long as you have an open mind to the possibilities it can open for you.
